Hosted by Ariel-Foundation Park as a part of the park’s 10th anniversary

In special celebration of 25th anniversaries of Owl Creek Conservancy and Philander Chase Conservancy

In honor of Kokosing Nature Preserve - 10th anniversary and the Knox County Park District and the Brown Family Environmental Center – 30th anniversaries

And to welcome Habitat for Humanity of Knox County as new neighbors to Ariel-Foundation Park!

Celebration Details:
5:00 p.m. Food Trucks Open for Dinner and Cash Bar Available Greenspace/Partner Display Booths Open
6:00-8:15 p.m. Entertainment by Mount Vernon native "Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra," featuring vocalist Rachel Sepulveda
7:00-7:20 p.m. Owl Creek and Philander Chase Conservancies 25th Anniversary Celebration Program during Intermission

Bring your own chair. Event center chairs are available if needed.
Free parking available at the Schnormeier Event Center, Rastin Tower and Urton Clock House.
Visitors from outside of Knox County are welcome!

 Ariel-Foundation Park, located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is a 250-acre civic park that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors of all ages.

Visiting Hours

Ariel-Foundation Park is officially open April 1 through November 15. Some areas of the park are accessible to pedestrians year-round. Daily hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are no admissions or parking fees. The Rastin Observation Tower, park museum, picnic pavillions, trails and other park features are free and open to the public. The Rastin Observation Tower is open during winter months, as long as weather allows.
