Ariel-Foundation Park will celebrate the tenth anniversary of National Kids to Parks Day with an emphasis on virtual activities and those which can be done via social distancing. Celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May since 2001, it is a national day of play that connects kids and families with their local, state and national parks. Created by the National Park Trust, this year’s “Parks to Kids Day” will bring a much-needed infusion of the outdoors to kids and families as they isolate at home and practice social distancing.
Foundation Park Conservancy is proud to offer a variety of FREE physical fitness activities at the park this summer. All will be held in the Schnormeier Event Center and are sponsored by the Ohio Eastern Star Home and each of the fitness providers including Marshall Winkle, Crossfit 1808, Amber Hawkins, Nisha Maxwell, Shakti Fit, Mount Vernon's YMCA and Step Into Fitness.
