Jose Madrigal delivers the Ultimate Carlos Santana Experience! This Nashville-based 5-piece band of professional musicians that offers up a true Carlos Santana concert experience.

The core 5 members include: 
Carlos Santana is portrayed by Jose Madrigal Jose, son of a Mexican immigrant, who was home schooled on the guitar by his father who was a guitar professor at Northern Ky. University. Jose spent 19 years in Nashville working as a studio musician and vocalist. He is a former 20th Century Fox and Columbia Records recording artist. Jose has appeared on radio & Television numerous times during his career. Lastly, as the owner of Home Tree Studio in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, he is active in music/video production, film scoring and artist development.         
Frank McGucken, Percussionist: Frank studied at Kent State University School of Music. As a sponsored Sonor Drum representative, Frank has worked with Steve Smith (drummer for Journey) and many others. Additional endorsements include Toca percussion, Gretsch Drums and Taye Drums.
Kevin Coggeshall, Drums & Percussion/Vocals: This veteran drummer has toured with Bo Diddley while being endorsed by Sonor, Sabian & LP manufacturers.
Bob Kennedy, Keys/Vocals: Bob is a classically trained pianist. Bob's tour credits included The Rock N Roll Heaven Tribute Band, The Van Dells and Sonny Turner of the Platters.
Steve Schmitt, Bass/Vocals: Steve is a true Road Warrior. He has many years under his belt playing in local Cincinnati bands.

Park Info



 Ariel-Foundation Park, located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is a 250-acre civic park that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors of all ages.

Visiting Hours

Ariel-Foundation Park is officially open April 1 through November 15. Some areas of the park are accessible to pedestrians year-round. Daily hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are no admissions or parking fees. The Rastin Observation Tower, park museum, picnic pavillions, trails and other park features are free and open to the public. The Rastin Observation Tower is open during winter months, as long as weather allows.
